Founded in 1990 and officially registered with the Government of India in 1994, Kiran Society is a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering children with disabilities and fostering an inclusive society. The organization provides comprehensive care, education, and rehabilitation services to help these children reach their full potential. The word "KIRAN" means "ray of light," and the KIRAN Society endeavors to be just that in the lives of children with disabilities and those from marginalized communities. KIRAN’s holistic rehab program includes Medical, Therapeutics, Capacity Building, and Sensitization. Education at KIRAN is a vital step in supporting the confidence, dreams, and talents of its students, while also empowering youth with disabilities through skills training and aiding micro-enterprise establishment.
