Rasta, a not-for-profit organization established in 1994, has profoundly impacted over 700,000 beneficiaries directly and more than 2.8 million indirectly across Delhi, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, and Uttarakhand. Rasta School, founded in February 2007 in Khora Colony, Ghaziabad, is a key educational project under this umbrella. It began with 40 girls and has grown significantly, educating thousands of girls, many of whom are first-generation learners from socially and economically disadvantaged backgrounds. The school provides formal education up to Class VIII and facilitates Class X examinations through NIOS or CBSE private candidate programs. Beyond academics, Rasta's broader initiatives include health services, women empowerment programs, skill development, and livelihood generation, all aimed at enhancing the quality of life and promoting gender equity.
