Sarasvati Shishu Mandir Bodarl was established in 1999 with the primary aim of providing local access to education, thereby reducing the need for children in Bodarli to travel long distances for schooling. It is managed by a Private Unaided body and primarily offers education for Grades 1 to 8, with an attached pre-primary section. Between 2011 and 2015, with the support of Small Steps Charity, the school underwent significant expansion to include education up to Year 10 (SSC) for all children. This growth led to a substantial increase in student enrollment, particularly benefiting girls by enabling them to continue their education beyond Year 4. The introduction of an IT suite with 8 fully functional computers has further enhanced educational offerings, enabling students to explore various vocational courses and develop computer literacy skills. The school currently serves over 400 students and has also created additional job opportunities for teachers and staff within the community. It operates from a private building with 17 classrooms and other essential facilities.
