About
St. Aloysius School is one of the premier institutions in the state, owned and established by the Catholic Diocese of Jabalpur, and it is administered by the Diocese through the Jabalpur Diocesan Educational Society, a registered body under the Society of Registration Act M.P. in 1968. The Mission Center in Birsingpur opened in 2000. Fr. Abraham Thazhathedath purchased 8.10 acres of land for this purpose in Pali Project area (under Goraiah village) in April 2004. Construction of the building started in January 2008, and St. Aloysius School, Birsinghpur, was founded on July 1, 2008. The school was inaugurated with classes starting for LKG, UKG, and Class I with a total strength of 96 students, 4 teachers, and 2 non-teaching staff. The foundation for the main school building was laid on February 8, 2009, with Nursery, Class II, and III starting from the academic year 2009-2010.
